Delicious Besitos De Coco from Venezuela

I like to snack, healthy snack especially of our own. For this time I will share you recipes that are healthy and delicious snack. Snack this one comes dancing Venezuela, Latin America. Made from coconut, making this snack has a distinctive taste. Snacks that we will create is Besitos De Coco.



Let's start by preparing Ingredients that will be used to cook this dish.

Ingredient:


  • 2 2/3 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1/2cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine salt


Cooking Instructions:


  • Preheat oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil. 
  • In a large bowl combine coconut, sugar, flour, vanilla and salt. Whisk until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Melt butter and whisk into the coconut mixture. Lightly whisk egg yolks and add to dry coconut mixture.
  • Using your hands, mix until a dough forms.
  • Scoop, using a tablespoon, then press dough between palms and form balls.
  • Place balls on prepared baking sheet and bake until cookies are golden and crisp on the edges, 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Transfer besitos to a cooling rack. Cool completely before serving.
