Footi Sauce à la Nene Galle Diallo from Guinea Africa

Let cook, cooking is fun !! This time I will share you recipes from the African continent, specifically from Guinea. The cuisine uses ingredients that can easily and simply. Cook it too easy, but taste delicious cooking! Cuisine I will share is Footi Sauce à la Nene Galle Diallo.
 
Let's start by preparing Ingredients that will be used to cook this dish.

Ingredient:
 
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 2 smashed tomatoes
  • 2 small eggplants, chopped
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 Maggi cubes
  • 1/2 kg pounded meat
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • Okras, if desired
 
Cooking Instructions:
 
  • Combine first 5 ingredients, set aside.
  • Then cook meat in the oil. 
  • When meat is well cooked, add the tomato mixtures, and cook for 30 minutes. 
  • Cook the okras in the sauce, and when finished cooking, pound the okras (alone) and then mix pounded okra into the rice. 
  • Serve sauce over rice. (An additional topping to sprinkle on top of the sauce can be made by pounding Maggi cube with odji).

  1. I am trying your recipe tonight but 1&1/2 CUPS of oil seems like an outrageous amount of oil. Also, after cooking the okra in the sauce, am I supposed to remove only them from the sauce to pound them and mix with the rice?
